Les Gorges du Verdon

Billed as spectacular, it wasn’t until we reached the end of the Gorge that we realised just how spectacular it is...

• Heading off on our circuit around the Gorges du Verdon
• Right near the highpoint of the Gorge
• The start of the Gorges du Verdon near Castellan
• Sliver of brilliant blue
• Nic heading down at the lake end of the gorge
• Nic, absolutely exhausted after a small Col. Time for a break

• This is a baguette au fromage. Where in Australia could you get a Brie sandwich that contains a whole round of Brie? Disgusting! :-)
