I can see why people live here. Despite no surf, the Mediterranean is exceptional. Nic and I were up early and down to the little town of Canadal-sur-Mer for a petite dejeuner. Baguette, Orange Juice and coffee for breakfast whilst reading L'Equipe. An extremely pleasant day was spent there translating L'Equipe, drinking beer, and deciding what we would have for lunch.
Lunch (for me) was superb. Ordered a salade nicoise, and loved every bit of it. Nic ordered a melon salad - and got that. 8 slices of melon. I felt very sorry for her - but since she doesn't like tuna, that was kind of bad luck for her.
Following lunch a dip in the sea was in order, and enjoying the cool crystal waters for a little while before we began the promenade back to the caravan park for dinner and bed.
